Support offered for postgraduate courses is limited.  It is usually only available when the course leads to a qualification which is essential for the young person’s career, such as a Legal Practice Course.

Post graduate support

The RMTGB can now offer support for postgraduate courses which can be shown to be highly beneficial for a beneficiary’s career.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate how their course is essential or highly beneficial and must also provide an academic reference that demonstrates their suitability for their chosen course.

The actual support available will depend on the circumstances of each applicant but could include a Course Fee Bursary for tuition fees, an Accommodation Grant and support towards other general living costs.
When the Trust is unable to help as part of its main work, there are some small funds that it can sometimes use to assist. See the Subsidiary Funds section.
