LETTERS OF THANKS
Dear Sir,
I am writing to say how sincerely grateful I am to the Royal Masonic Trust for their financial assistance and how very much it will be appreciated over the following academic terms.
Since the devastating loss of my wife the Masons have been such a fantastic support to me and my two young daughters. Due to the Trust’s support I have already enrolled them in swimming lessons and having a maintenance allowance each term will make such a difference to their lives.
I cannot thank the Trust enough for all its support and assistance. This letter is sent with my sincere gratitude to you all at the Royal Masonic Trust. Thank you so very much.
Yours sincerely,
(Two girls, aged 5 & 7. Case accepted October 2005 as a result of the death of the mother. Maintenance to both of £450 per term)
Dear Sir,
This morning my dad gave me a letter from the trust. Thank you very much. I do try hard and I want to do the right things all the time.
Dad has said if it was not for the trust we would not have the things we have or be able to do the things we do.
Last year you give me the money so I could go to France. I had a great time. Dad made me read the letter again and in it you said you will help me go to France again.
I am not sure who really helps my dad and my sister, but dad says it is all the people I see when I go down to his lodge when I play snooker.
Thank you very much for all the things you have done. I am sorry if I’ve not said so before but I’m not really very good at this kind of thing.
When I grow up I want to be a building worker. Dad sent you the letter from College. I really enjoyed that work and it is because I was good you sent me the money. Thank you very much. I don’t know you all apart from you, my Case Almoner. Can you tell every body who has done this for me and dad - thanks.
Yours faithfully
Adam (aged 15)
