FESTIVAL 2001
The 16th Anniversary Festival was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Friday, 11 May 2001. The Festival President was RW Bro Stanley Lates, then Provincial Grand Master for Warwickshire. A splendid total of £3,162,651 was achieved by the Brethren and Ladies of Warwickshire.886 Ladies and Brethren attended the Festival.
Distinguished guests included RW Bro David Williamson, Assistant Grand Master, RW Bros Derek Buswell, Provincial Grand Master for Leicestershire and Rutland, Kevin Chawner, Provincial Grand Master for Staffordshire, Brian Lambert, Provincial Grand Master for Herefordshire, Barrie Cooper, Provincial Grand Master for Worcestershire, Colin Hutchinson, Provincial Grand Master for Cambridgeshire, Dr Gordon Haysey, Provincial Grand Master for Shropshire, Sqn Ldr Peter Marsh, Provincial Grand Master for Gloucestershire and a Trustee of the RMTGB and David Cons, Pro Provincial Grand Master for Middlesex.
