FESTIVAL 2007
The 22nd Anniversary Festival was supported by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Cumberland and Westmorland. The Festival dinner was held Carlisle Racecourse on Wednesday 6th June 2007.
The meeting was presided over by RW Bro John Hale, Provincial Grand Master and the guest of honour was RW Bro David Williamson, Assistant Grand Master.
The Provincial Grand Master announced a truly magnificent total of £2,055,749 of which £1,742,022 came from the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland with only 82 Lodges. London achieved £152,747 other Provinces raised £153,319 and Districts and Lodges Overseas realised £7,661.
During the dinner attended by over 550 Ladies and Brethren from the Province, the assembled host were entertained by Miss Jemima Phillips on the Harp. Jemima was assisted by the Trust in the form of a TalentAid Grant and until recently, she was Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales.
